Thank you for encouraging your students who are interested in the University of Minnesota to complete their applications by the November 1 priority deadline for freshmen.   Students who apply by this deadline will receive priority consideration for admission, the Honors Program and scholarships.  These applicants will know their admission decision by the end of January 2017. 

December 15 is our regular application deadline for freshmen.  Students who apply by this deadline will receive full consideration for admission.  However, Honors Program admission will be on a space-available basis and scholarships will be on a funds-available basis.  These applicants will receive a decision by the end of March 2017.
