It has been a busy couple of months in our office and I'm pleased to share that we have started issuing our first round of admission offers for those who have applied for the fall 2024 intake. We recognize our first round of offers may create some questions from your students, so I have included several resources in this edition of the Counsellor Newsletter to support you. As we begin the first round of offers, it is important to emphasize that only about 30% of students will receive offers during this period and most of our applicants will receive offers in February when we receive first-term grade 12 results.

Note: Programs with supplementary applications will not start issuing offers until early in the new year. In anticipation of UCalgary Nursing new curriculum launch for Fall 2024, initial offers for admission to the Faculty of Nursing are expected in mid-December.

Time to apply for scholarships!

The Prestige Award deadline is December 1, 2023. Students must first apply for admission before they can complete their Prestige and High School Entrance Award applications. For more information, click here.
