Hello,
I hope fall is continuing to go well for you and your communities. I apologize for reaching out so much with virtual visit opportunities, but I wanted to highlight a unique program that I will be hosting for students in my international region on Monday, October 12th at 9:00am EST/6:30pm IST/8:00pm ICT.
This program will focus on two of our accelerated, direct entry BA/MA programs in Global Health Studies and International Studies that students can apply for during their first year admissions process. These programs are not tied to any particular undergraduate major, so this is a great opportunity for any of your students who are interested in Public Health, Economics, Applied Statistics, Policy and Political Science, International Studies and Relations, History, and/or Language studies. Students will learn how our connections to the School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and the Bloomberg School of Public Health will benefit their undergraduate opportunities and how they can have direct pathways into graduate study. I will walk through the application process for the Direct Matriculation programs and give some tips on writing the additional required essay.
Please share this event with any interested students and encourage them to register for the DMP event here: https://admissions.jhu.edu/register/?id=153f8a29-eb02-446f-ac45-ea87eafdbfff. If you are interested in attending as a counselor to learn more about these specialty programs please let me know and I can provide you the direct Zoom link.
This program will not be recorded, but if students cannot attend they can learn more via the links below and can also email me directly with questions.
Additionally, students can find our full virtual offering of information sessions, tours, financial aid sessions and workshops here. Please let me know if you have any questions or feedback.
Thank you, Jenny
