· Rankings - We are ranked as one of the top 200 universities in the world; we are ranked 50th in the world for our Engineering programs, 50th in the world for mathematics, and 23rd in the world for computer science (including data science).

· Programs - We offer over 100 programs from six facilities; popular programs include psychologyaviation, our business+ programspathways to medicineEngineering (we have 15 programs), mathematicsphysicscomputer sciencedata science, and geography.

· Co-op – Our job readiness program, called co-op, allows students to earn two years of work experience before they graduate. Help pay for your tuition and get real industry experience to build your resume and your networks. We rank 24th in the world for preparing graduates for full-time work.

· Tuition and scholarships – These are the costs of study and the funding opportunities available to offset these fees.

· International student supports – 30% of students on campus are international. There are lots of services and peer supports offered to those studying abroad, including help with study and work permit applications.

· Admissions and applying – We consider students for our programs based on their specific curriculum. See what you need to apply and be considered for Waterloo.

· Workshops and webinars – We host a variety of workshops and webinars to help students learn about our programs, admissions, student life, academic supports, tuition, and scholarships. Register to attend and get answers to all of your questions.


I am reaching out to you to remind you and your students that our Faculty of Mathematics at the University of Waterloo, in partnership with our Centre for Education in Mathematics and Computing (CEMC) is hosting its last set of Math Speaker Series Workshops later this month. I would appreciate if you could remind your students to attend to learn about math and computer science in every day life.

I would also like to let you know that our team will be hosting Future Math Student Webinars in December and January. These webinars are designed to help students understand the differences between our mathematics and computer science programs and get answers to all of their admissions and university-related questions.
